Jesus caught my attention when I was 14, in my hometown of Fallon, NV! Amazed and grateful for the transformation He brought to my life when I responded to Him, and wanting to know Him better and serve Him, I attended Western Baptist College (now Corban College) in Salem, OR, where I ended up with a two-year degree in Theology. While there, I married and had two children, followed by a move back to Nevada.

In 2007, I began attending weekly international outreach dinners. In 2008, I began sharing my home, renting rooms to international women and I began hosting a weekly Sunday dinner for international students. My new husband and I met at one of those dinners, and married in May 2011! We opened a second International Women's House near the First Girls' House and near the campus, where we now live with international students again, and are enjoying the multiple opportunities to connect with students afforded by living close to them.
